Pasta dishes are always a good idea!
Bring plenty of salted water for pasta and vegetables to a boil. Clean the monk beard roots, rinse them a few times to remove any soil and cook them in the boiling water for about 5 minutes. Add the spaghetti and cook until done. In the meantime, cut the bacon into thin strips and sauté in a large frying pan with a clove of garlic, a little oil and a piece of chili pepper, pour a ladle of pasta water, then add the pasta cooked al dente with the vegetables to the bacon sauce, season quickly with salt and serve immediately.
A young Bardolino would make a perfect combination.
