Instructions:

For the Husarenkrapferl, knead the butter, flour, almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and yolks into a dough.

Place in plastic wrap and let rest in a cool place for 3 hours. Form dough into a roll and cut off slices. Shape into balls and place on baking sheet.

Press a depression into each ball with a wooden spoon handle and fill with jam. Bake at 180 °C for approx. 15 min.
