A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Rinse and dry raisins.

Mix fat with sugar until creamy and sugar is dissolved. Gradually fold in the eggs, curd and custard powder. Finally, fold in the lemon zest and juice and the pistachios with raisins.

Line the bottom of a 24cm baking dish with parchment paper, grease the sides.

Bake: preheat to 175 °C , bake for one hour at 150 °C (gas: 2).

If the surface gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil. Slightly broken quark cakes should cool in the pan for 20 min before removing the ring. Lift onto a cake plate only after complete cooling.
