Instructions:

Crush the pelati tomatoes with the tomato puree and season with salt and pepper. Chop the oregano leaves and add.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a thin, oblong rectangle. Spread the tomato sauce on top, leaving a two-inch-wide border of dough on the top long side. Roll up the dough from the bottom to the top. Using a sharp kitchen knife, cut the roll into 1cm wide slices. Place cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cut the mozzarella into slices and cut them in half. Cover the dough pieces with it. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half, season with salt and pepper and place them, cut side down, on the dough pieces.

Bake the pizza buns in the oven heated to 200 °C on the second rack from the bottom for twenty to twenty-five minutes until golden brown. Bring to the table hot.
