A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Melt the yeast in the whipping cream. Stir the butter with the honey, half the egg and the cinnamon. Add the yeast cream. Gradually add the flour and knead the dough thoroughly.

Cover and place in the refrigerator. The dough should not rise.

In the meantime, grease 1 baking sheet with butter. Cut out a template from baking parchment paper. For the template, cut a circle of 30 cm ø from paper with the same edge arcs. Mark the hole in the center and the slits.

Peel and core the apples and slice finely or grate coarsely. Steam in the butter for 8-10 minutes, turning a few times. Chop the raisins and mix with the orange zest into the hot mixture. Cool slightly and sweeten with honey. Grate the almond kernels and fold in. If necessary, season with a little lemon juice.

Repeatedly knead the dough thoroughly. Roll out a little more than half of the dough to the size of the template and place it on the baking tray.

Put the template on top and roll out the bottom following it. Knead the leftover dough with the rest of the dough and put it back to cool. Spread the filling evenly on the dough and smooth it out. Leave a margin of just under 1 cm.
