The dough for the marzipan nut cake is based on a simple mug cake recipe. Roughly measure everything and mix together.

Pour the dough into a baking pan coated with oil and dusted with flour. I always take a small baking pan (20 cm) for such cakes so that the cake gains height. Of course, you can also just make more dough.

Bake the dough at 180 °C for about 30-45 minutes. Let it cool down and remove the cake from the baking pan. Roll out the marzipan thinly and place it over the cake.

If the marzipan is too sticky, put it in the fridge beforehand. Now decorate the marzipan nut cake as desired.
