Finely chopped, then coarsely chopped cabbage season with salt, squeeze and marinate for 2 hours. Then squeeze out the juice.

Melt the sugar in fat or bacon cubes, fry the onion in it, add the cabbage, season and stew until soft, stirring frequently. Then let it cool down.

In the meantime, prepare a stretched strudel dough and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the cabbage and cover lightly with sour cream stirred until smooth.

Roll up the dough, wrap the ends and place on a greased baking tray.

Bake in a hot oven.
