Instructions:

Mix the softened butter with the sifted powdered sugar, lemon zest and vanilla sugar until thick and creamy.

stir until thick and creamy. Mix in egg yolks, strained curd cheese and sour cream. Whip the egg whites with the granulated sugar until they form beaten egg whites, fold into the curd mixture and mix in the flour.

Brush the stretched strudel dough with melted butter. Spread two thirds of the dough surface with the filling, sprinkle with raisins and roll up.

Place the strudel in a buttered frying pan or gratini bowl, brush with liquid butter and bake in a heated oven at 170 °C for about 35 minutes.

Serve sugared with vanilla sauce.
