Instructions:

Cut bacon into cubes or possibly strips. Peel onion and cut into eighths. Rinse savory. Boil everything together with tap water, skim and let simmer gently for 45 min with closed lid.

Cut out the savory. Rinse and clean the green beans and cut them diagonally into small pieces. Remove peel from potatoes, rinse and dice. Add both to the bacon and sauté everything together for another 20 minutes.

Rinse apples, quarter, stone and cut into small slices. Simmer in the broth for 5 minutes.

Season with salt and a little vinegar. Rinse parsley, chop and sprinkle on top.

Our tip: Never cook beans covered, then they will be easier to digest.
