Instructions:

For apple pie with almond cranberry filling, peel the apples and hollow them out with an apple corer.

Cream butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, rum and eggs. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in.

Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth it out. Press apples lightly into the dough and fill with the almond-dusted sugar-cinnamon mixture.

Bake at 175 °C for about 60 minutes.

Let cake cool briefly and fill apples with cranberry jam. Then sprinkle the apple cake with almond-cranberry filling with a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
