A more wonderful asparagus recipe:

Peel asparagus spears, add one-eighth 1 sugar, water, salt and butter to saucepan and bring to a boil on 3. Make 15-20 min on 1 or automatic cooker 4-5.

Add crem double to saucepan, bring to just before boiling point on 2 or automatic cooker 4-5, stirring throughout. Turn off, season with salt and pepper, stir in cheese until melted and combined with sauce. Season with very little nutmeg.

Put the asparagus spears on a warmed plate and pour the sauce over them. Serve with new potatoes.

Cut spears only at the lower third.
