Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, dice the onions, clean and cut the mushrooms. If you had frozen previously collected mushrooms, defrost the corresponding mass. Put the meat in a cold saucepan and place it on the stove, high flame. In the first minute, make sure that the meat does not stick to the pot, which does not happen with a good stainless steel pot. Cover and braise the meat, it will “draw water” very quickly. When no more liquid comes out of the meat, pour in the stock cube and stir meanwhile until the stock cube has dissolved. Now, again with the lid closed, boil the liquid a little bit (about 10 min), then add the onions and saute for a few min. Now add the water and simmer on low flame for 30 min, then add the mushrooms and simmer on low flame for another 20-30 min.
