Bring beef broth to a boil, dice buns. In another saucepan, mix the bread cubes with saffron threads and pour the boiling soup over them. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg and add whipped cream and butter. Bring to the boil while stirring continuously. Stir in grated horseradish and season again to taste.
