Instructions:

In a pot large enough so that the sausages have good space in it, pour plenty of hot water and bring to a boil over high heat.

Put in the sausages, wait 1-2 minutes and then reduce the heat so that the water no longer boils, but only small bubbles rise. (The sausages would quickly burst in boiling water).

Now let the sausages steep in the water, uncovered, for about 10 minutes, turning them over once during this time.

Then remove the sausages and serve with mustard and/or grated horseradish and bread.
