Instructions:

First, for the toppings, wash and clean the cabbage sprouts and blanch them in salted water for about 7-8 minutes.

Halve the sprouts, quarter the larger ones. Melt the butter in a pot and toss the sprouts in it. Season with the spices and stir in the ham cubes, add some more butter if necessary.

For the patties, put the minced meat in a bowl and mix well with the remaining ingredients. Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.

With wet hands, form four patties from the dough and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Cut the buns in half and toast the cut sides on the grill.

Spread hazelnut pesto on the bottom halves of the buns. Place the still hot patties on top and cover with the cheese slices, they should melt.

Arrange the cabbage sprouts on top and place the top bun halves on the wild boar burgers.
