For the Prague cherry cake, mix sugar with vanilla sugar and beat with yolks and butter until fluffy. Fold the soft chocolate into the mixture.

Beat the egg whites with a little granulated sugar until stiff and fold the flour and baking powder mixture, hazelnuts, cinnamon and rum alternately into the yolk mixture.

Finally, stir in the pitted sour cherries. Pour the dough into a springform pan and bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven.

Decorate with powdered sugar.
