Try this delicious cake recipe:

Prepare a shortcrust pastry from the first ingredients and leave to cool for about half an hour with the lid closed. Then roll out the dough into a rectangle of 8×20 cm, lift it onto a greased baking sheet and press up a small rim all around. Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Pit the apricots, soak them in wine until they are swollen. Add sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon and make the apricots into compote at low temperature. Cool, then fold in the apricot brandy. Spread the compote on the cooled cake. For the meringue, whip the two egg whites until very stiff, gradually adding the sugar. Spread the meringue on the apricots, sprinkle with the nuts and bake briefly (about 5 minutes) in the heated oven at 250 degrees on the upper rack until the meringue has acquired a little color.
