Good quality meat should be used. Remove fat and bones if possible. Layer diced meat (2 1/2cm thick), onion and potato slices in a cooking pot. Add pepper, bay spice, salt and thyme. Sprinkle with water and cook in the oven until tender. Sprinkle with herbs when serving.
