Instructions:

For the Älplermagronen, boil the macaroni and potatoes until just cooked. Drain the pasta well and cut the potatoes into rough cubes.

Cut the onion into strips and fry in butter until golden. Boil the cream or milk, add 100 g of the cheese and mix well.

Mix the pasta with 75 g of the cheese, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Spread the onion sauce over the pasta, cover and heat on the stove or in the oven until the cheese melts.

To make the salad, whisk the mustard with the spices and vinegar until frothy, allow to stand briefly and mix with the olive oil.

Coarsely grate the carrot, cut the bell bell pepper into medium strips, cut the cucumber and red cabbage and mix with the salad mix.
