For the chocolate nut sticks, cream the butter until fluffy, then add the sugar and yolks. Carefully fold in the flour mixed with baking powder, chocolate and egg whites.

Spread the mixture on a well-greased baking sheet and sprinkle evenly with the coarsely chopped nuts.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cut the pastry into bars while still hot.
