Instructions:

Wash the lentils and soak them for one night, add the dried meat and the bay leaf seasoning and cook for a quarter of an hour. Then add the finely chopped vegetables and simmer gently for another 30 to 40 minutes.

Heat the butter in a second saucepan and sauté the finely diced onion. Add flour and let it brown slightly. Add the clear soup and simmer for 5 minutes, then add to the soup.

Add salt and pepper as needed and season with red wine or vinegar.
