Instructions:

Cut the onion into very fine cubes, press the garlic clove through a press, mix both with pepper, juice of one lemon, salt and oil.

Cut pears into quarters, then into narrow slices, on the spot in the salad marinade form, so that they do not turn brown. Cut Edam into cubes, add, mix everything together well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, season well. Cut the chives into rolls with scissors and sprinkle over the salad.

Serve with rye toast or baguette.
