Instructions:

The pickled mushrooms are prepared like this: boil 250 ml of salted water at 6 servings with juice of one lemon, bay spice, wine, chopped onion and oil, cool in the broth.

The pickled peppers are prepared like this: Roast peppers under broiler until skin is black. Peel off the skin, divide the peppers into bite-sized pieces. Make a sauce from finely chopped onion, thinly sliced salt, vinegar, garlic cloves, pepper, oil, infuse the peppers in it at length, turning frequently.

The basil eggs are prepared like this: Peel the eggs, cut them in half, spread the yellow through a sieve, mix the mayo with a little bit of water until smooth, season with garlic, salt and pepper, chop the basil coarsely, mix with a little bit of the egg yolk mixture, mash with the cutting rod of the hand mixer until the basil is completely mashed, mix with the rest of the egg yolk mixture, fill into the egg halves with a piping bag.

Arrange the individual ingredients on a large platter or on serving plates.

Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish tastes twice as good!
