Instructions:

First, roll out the puff pastry and divide into eight square pieces. Peel, core and grate apples large, mix with sugar and cinnamon and spread evenly on the pastry sheets.

Brush the edge of the dough with egg, fold and press the edges with a fork and brush again with egg.

Bake the pockets in the preheated oven at about 200 °C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Allow the apple pockets to cool slightly, sprinkle with sugar and serve warm.
