Instructions:

For the avocado sandwich with Serrano ham, peel the red onion, wash and cut into fine rings. Bring 100 ml of water with red wine vinegar and sugar to a boil.

Add the onion rings and simmer for 3 minutes, strain immediately and drain well. Cut the bread in half horizontally and spread thinly with butter. Place Serrano ham on top.

Slice cucumber and tomatoes and place on top. Dice peppers, mix with cream cheese. Season with sea salt, pepper and piment d’Espelette and spread on tomato-cucumber slices.

Cut avocados in half with a knife. Separate both parts and remove the pit. Take out the flesh from the avocados, immediately pour lemon juice and cut into slices.

Put them on the bread. Arrange the red onion on it. Cover sandwiches with bread lid, press lightly and serve immediately.
