Instructions:

For the bacon burger, first prepare the coleslaw, preferably a few hours beforehand. To do this, slice the cabbage and carrots into small sticks. Mix well with the remaining ingredients. Let the coleslaw sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.

For the fried onions, cut the onions into rings and lightly caramelize them with the oil and sugar.

Mix the mince well with salt and pepper and let it rest. Form four equal, flat patties from the mince with a burger press or with your hands.

Now fry the burger patties on the preheated grill over direct heat. After about five minutes, flip and place the cheese slices on the already fried side.

Place the halved buns, cut side down, on the grill as well until crispy. Fry the slices of breakfast bacon until crispy as well.

Cover the bottom of the bun with coleslaw, place the burger patties on top, then the fried onions, lettuce, tomato slices and barbecue sauce.

Finally, place the top of the bun on top and serve.
