For the bacon and semolina dumplings, cook the diced bacon in a saucepan until translucent and then briefly fry the semolina in it. Add water or milk, stir and let stand away from the flame. Add the eggs one by one to the lukewarm mixture. Add salt as needed.

Form dumplings from the mixture and boil them in bubbling salted water until they rise to the surface. Leave to stand for a while on a low heat.
