For the baked Kletzenbrot with pears, first preheat the oven to 160 °C hot air or 180 °C top/bottom heat.

Peel the pears and cut out the core. Cut into slices. Melt 40 g butter with sugar and put the pears in. Caramelize for about 15 minutes, turning them over and over.

In the meantime, lightly butter the slices of cucumber bread on one side. Place, buttered side down, in small ovenproof molds (one mold per serving). Trim to fit if needed.

Divide the pear slices with the juice among the molds. Whip the whipped cream with the pear liqueur until fluffy. Pour into the molds, sprinkle with sugar and bake for about 15-20 minutes.

Let the baked Kletzenbrot with pears cool down a little before serving.
