Remove the skin from the potatoes, cut them into rounds and slice them into thin slices. Cut the onions into slices and brown them in butter. Season everything, place the potatoes in a rosette along a baking dish, place the onions on top and mold clarified butter over them so that the potatoes are covered. Place in the oven at about 220 °C until they have turned golden yellow.

Tip: Instead of clarified butter you can also use butter in most cases.
