A great cake recipe for any occasion:

(*) For a large cake pan (quiche pan) Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

Mix the soft sugar, butter, vanilla sugar, eggs and the hot water. Remove the skin from the bananas, cut them into pieces and mash them. Stir the mashed bananas into the egg mixture.

Mix salt, baking powder, flour and nuts and combine with the banana-egg mixture. Rest the dough for five minutes.

Line the cake pan (quiche pan) with parchment paper. Pour the dough into it and spread it smoothly. Bake in the middle of the oven for fifty minutes.

Remove from oven, cover with aluminum foil and cool for one hour. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
