For the banana chocolate muffins, separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks, softened butter, half of the sugar and the vanilla sugar and beat until foamy.

Beat the egg whites with the other half of the sugar until stiff. Mix the flour and baking powder and slowly add to the egg yolk mixture.

Add the egg liqueur. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Cut the bananas into small pieces and fold into the batter.

Line a muffin tray with paper cups and pour in the batter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees/ hot air. Bake the banana-chocolate muffins for 30 minutes.
