For the barbecue skewers, dice pork shoulder, smoked meat, lung roast and pork liver. Cut bacon into fine slices and roll up.

Wash peppers, remove core and cut into bite-sized pieces. Thread the meat pieces, bell pepper pieces, cocktail onions and mushrooms alternately onto skewers.

Cut half a Frankfurter sausage crosswise and put it on the tip of each skewer. Season the finished shepherd’s pie skewers with salt and pepper and brush with oil.

Grill for 20 to 35 minutes, depending on the size of the meat pieces, turning the skewers frequently.
