Instructions:

First, peel and dice beet.

Brown flour with hot butter to make a preserves, pour in red wine and bring to a boil.

Stir in sour cream, season with lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin and powdered sugar. Add beet and heat thoroughly.

Season the vegetables again, arrange and serve.
