Beet rinse, remove the peel and cut first into slices, then into sticks. Pour vinegar over them.

Peel the onions and cut them into slices. Dice the bacon and fry in a saucepan on 2 1/2 or automatic heat 9-11 until translucent, add the onions and cook until golden. Add bay spice, salt and pepper, pour in red wine and clear soup. Cook on 1 or automatic 4-6 for about 5 minutes with the lid closed, then without the lid also for 5 minutes.

To serve, perhaps season again.

As a side dish to the table bring small grilled sausages and mashed potatoes.

You can also cook the vegetables mixed with a package of frozen meatballs. Serve with boiled, peeled potatoes.

Our tip: use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
