For the blackberry gnocchi, mix the washed blackberries in a bowl with flour and a pinch of salt. Bring the milk to the boil briefly and pour enough over it to make a light dumpling dough.

Heat enough butter or clarified butter in a large frying pan. With the help of a spoon, make dumplings from the mixture, place them in the hot fat, press them down gently and bake the dumplings until they are golden brown on both sides.

Carefully lift out, drain well or dab with kitchen paper and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar before serving.
