For the blueberry pastry, first roll out the puff pastry and use a rolling pin to roll it out a little larger. Then divide the rectangle lengthwise into 4 long strips.

Cut 2 of these strips crosswise with a knife so that 1 cm is not cut into the edge on both sides. Spread the jam on the two uncut strips and cover with the cut strips.

Divide each strip into five to six pieces, brush with beaten egg and bake at 200 degrees in a hot oven on the middle rack for about 10 – 12 minutes until light brown.
