Braised Beef a La Chikosh

Instructions:

Cut the beef into small strips. Finely dice the streaky bacon.

Cut onions, peppers and tomatoes into coarse pieces. Chop one clove of garlic.

Lightly brown the diced bacon in lard. Add onions and garlic and sweat until translucent, stirring.

Sprinkle in sweet paprika. Stir, but do not burn! Pour on a little water.

Add the meat. Add salt and stir. Simmer gently for about 40 min (maybe dilute again with a tiny bit of water). Add the chopped tomatoes and peppers.

Then form the sliced smoked pork sausage and a pepperoni in the cooking pot.

Mix the flour with the sour cream and pour it over the dish.

After a few minutes remove the casserole from the fire. Serve with pancakes filled with blanched savoy cabbage tossed in butter.

Suggested drink: red wine.
