For the cabbage fritters, finely cut the cabbage into short strips. Heat the oil in a large pot and melt the sugar in the oil.

Add the cabbage to the pot, roast and stir again and again until it has a brown color. (Be careful not to burn the cabbage, always add a little water).

Cook the Fleckerl according to package instructions, drain and mix with the cabbage. Season the cabbage fritters well with pepper and salt.
