For the cabbage sprout casserole, steam the cabbage sprouts in the butter with a little salted water for 20 minutes. Put the rice in 1 liter of boiling salted water and let it swell for 15 minutes.

Rinse cold in a sieve and drain. Dice the smoked meat. Layer cabbage sprouts, rice and smoked meat in a greased baking dish.

The top layer is again cabbage sprouts. Cover with soup. Finally, sprinkle with nutmeg, Parmesan cheese and herb butter flakes.

Put the casserole in the preheated oven and bake at 220 °C for about 40 minutes.
