In a bowl, cream butter with yolks until fluffy. Strain the peeled cooked potatoes and mix in. Season with salt and nutmeg. Then beat egg whites to snow and fold in alternately with flour and chives. Butter a suitable pan or baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fill in the mixture to the height of a finger. Put the pan into the preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for about 12 minutes. Remove the pan, turn it out and cut the mixture into small pieces (Pflanzerln, formerly also: Pfanzerln or Pfanzeln of Pfannzelten).
