For the chocolate apples in a jar, first peel and core the apples and cut them into slices about 1/2 cm thin. Cut out hearts with a cookie cutter.

Melt the chocolate over a water bath.

Dip the hearts in the chocolate and and let them drip off on a baking rack. Decorate with sugar decorations and refrigerate until the chocolate is completely dry. Pour the chocolate hearts into a jar.

Give the chocolate apples in the jar as a gift or enjoy them yourself.
