Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Line a muffin tray with paper muffin cups in each well.

Melt the butter and mix well with the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, salt, milk, eggs and vanilla sugar in a bowl with a whisk or food processor.

Mix flour and baking soda/baking powder well in a bowl and slowly add to the mixture, making sure there are no lumps.

Roughly grate dark cooking chocolate or add in liquid form to the mixture.

Peel the banana and put it in a bowl to mash, add 10 chocolate bananas (if you want it more chocolatey you can use more) and mash everything finely. Once the mixture is homogeneous, add the chocolate banana liqueur, blend again so that it is well distributed, mix into the muffin mixture and stir again thoroughly.

Divide the batter into the muffin cups and place the remaining chocolate bananas in pieces (5 pcs per chocolate banana) on top of the muffins.

Bake the chocolate banana muffins on the middle rack at 190 °C for between 18-21 minutes. Stick test.
