For the praline cake, cream the butter and incorporate the remaining ingredients one by one. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan, spread evenly and bake at 180-200 degrees for about 40 minutes. Allow to cool and cut through once.

Prepare the cake cream according to the instructions on the package, melt the butter and stir it into the still warm pudding by the spoonful when it has cooled down, add the brandy. Heat the chocolate in a bain-marie, stir until smooth and mix with the buttercream.

Fill the cake with half of the cream. Put some of the remaining cream in a piping bag, spread the rest over the top and sides of the cake and sprinkle the edges with chocolate shavings.

Decorate the cake with the piping bag and top with chocolates.
