Instructions:

For the chocolate cake, cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, add yolks and continue mixing, add melted chocolate. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add to the dough together with the milk.

Finally, fold the snow into the mixture. Pour into a cake pan lined with baking paper, spread a little up the sides and bake slowly in a preheated oven at about 160 °C for about 1 hour.

Remove from the pan and cool. Then cut through 1 – 2 times and fill with strained apricot jam (can be enhanced with rum). Reassemble the cake.

Spread thinly with jam and let it dry a bit, in the meantime soften the chocolate and stir it with the whipped cream to the desired consistency. Cool slightly and pour over the cake.
