Instructions:

Pit sour cherries, grease and flour or spread with parchment paper.

Beat butter or light butter in a baking bowl until soft. Add sugar, eggs and salt, stir until pale. Stir in all ingredients except sour cherries, flour and baking powder. Sift in flour and baking powder, mix into the mixture with the sour cherries.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 50 minutes in the lower half of the oven heated to 180 degrees. Cool, dust with powdered sugar.
