For the chocolate coconut banana cake, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, yolks and rum. Mix in the mashed bananas. Carefully add coconut flakes, flour with sifted baking powder and snow.

Pour the mixture into the cake pan (fill the pan about halfway). Bake at 170 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Cover cooled cake with chocolate. If desired, decorate the chocolate-coconut-banana cake with whipped cream and coconut flakes.
