Corn on the Cob with Smoked Paprika Butter From the Steamer

Instructions:

For the bell pepper butter, allow the butter to warm to room temperature.

Peel and finely chop the onion and sauté in 1 tablespoon melted butter until translucent. Add paprika powder and fry a little. Deglaze with a dash of water and simmer until the water boils away and the onion is soft. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt and ground pepper.

Allow onions to cool and then mix with butter that is well room temperature. Place butter on a sheet of baking paper and form into a tight roll. Place in the refrigerator to firm up for at least 1 hour.

For the corn on the cob, steam them in a steamer at 100° C for 13-18 minutes, depending on their size and desired firmness to the bite.

Spread the finished steamed corn on the cob with the paprika butter and serve hot.
