Sort out the cranberries, rinse and drain. Bring the fruit to a boil with the sugar, stirring, then add the red wine, lemon zest and cloves. Keep on low until the berries are soft. Lift cranberries out of gravy with a slotted ladle. Boil gravy until it thickens slightly. Pour in berries one more time and cool. Finally, stir through with cognac, put into small glasses form and cooled.
Our tip: Use high-quality red wine for an especially fine taste!
