For the cream of pumpkin soup, chop the shallots and sauté in butter. Add the pumpkin cubes and sauté until soft.

Add the garlic and sauté briefly. Add vegetable soup and season with salt, nutmeg and pepper. Add crème fraîche and blend the pumpkin soup with a hand blender.
