For the creamy date ice cream, pit the dates and place them in a sealable container (a large canning jar works well for this). Add water and leave to soak overnight. 4 hours are also sufficient if necessary.

Now carefully pour off the still undiscolored part of the water. Empty the brown discolored part, to which the dates have already given their aroma, into the stand mixer. Remove the skin from the dates. This will now come off very well. Add the peeled dates to the blender and blend on high speed for about 1 minute.

Empty the mixture into a sealable plastic container and place in the freezer for about 6 hours. Stir several times in between to check how far the mixture has frozen.

Arrange the creamy date ice cream and enjoy.
